01 — What this page is

This page is WaySel's standing data-deletion instructions — for anyone who has emailed us, sent a project brief, or worked with us, and for clients who granted WaySel access to platform accounts such as Meta Business Manager or Google Ads. It also serves as the user data deletion instructions URL that Meta requires of businesses using its platform and developer tools.

WaySel does not run consumer apps that log you in with Facebook or Google. The data we hold is business correspondence and, for clients, the access they granted us. Both are easy to undo.

02 — What we typically hold

  • Correspondence — emails you sent us, including project briefs (the brief form itself stores nothing; only what you actually email arrives).
  • Contact details — name, email, phone, company, as they appear in that correspondence.
  • Engagement records — contracts, invoices, and project files, if we worked together.
  • Platform access — partner or manager access to ad and analytics accounts that clients granted for an engagement. The data in those accounts stays on the platform, under the client's ownership — we hold access, not a copy.

This Site itself sets no cookies and runs no trackers, so there is no visitor database to delete from.

03 — Delete by email

  1. Write to info@waysel.com with the subject "DATA DELETION REQUEST" — from the email address whose data you want deleted, or with enough detail for us to find it.
  2. Tell us the scope: everything, a specific thread, or specific files. "Everything" is a fine answer.
  3. We confirm receipt, verify the request against the contact details we hold, delete, and reply with written confirmation — within 30 days, usually much faster.

04 — Revoke Meta access

Clients can cut WaySel's access to Facebook and Instagram assets themselves, instantly, without asking us:

  1. Open Meta Business Suite → Settings → Business portfolio (business.facebook.com/settings).
  2. Under Users → Partners (or People), select WaySel.
  3. Remove WaySel from each asset — ad accounts, Pages, pixels/datasets — or remove the partner entirely.
  4. Optional: under Settings → Business integrations on your personal Facebook account, remove any WaySel-related integration and tick "Delete posts, videos or events" to clear associated data.

Email us as in Section 03 if you also want any exported reports or working files deleted on our side — revoking access removes our reach into the platform, and the email removes anything already exported.

05 — Revoke Google access

  1. Google Ads — in your account, go to Admin → Access and security and remove WaySel's user access; under Managers, unlink any WaySel manager (MCC) account.
  2. Google Analytics — Admin → Account access management, remove WaySel.
  3. OAuth grants — at myaccount.google.com/permissions, remove any WaySel-related connection to revoke tokens issued under your Google account.

Any data we received through Google APIs during an engagement is handled under the Limited Use requirements described in our Privacy Policy and is deleted on request or at engagement end, whichever comes first.

06 — What we may retain

Two honest exceptions, both required of a US business:

  • Legal and tax records — signed contracts, invoices, and payment records must be kept for the statutory period (typically up to seven years) even after a deletion request.
  • The request itself — we keep a minimal record that a deletion was requested and honored, so we can prove we did it.

Anything retained under these exceptions is stored securely, used for nothing else, and deleted when the clock runs out.

07 — Timeline & confirmation

We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. You get a written confirmation listing what was deleted and, if anything was retained under Section 06, exactly what and why. If you're unsatisfied, reply and say so — a person reads it, and your state's privacy rights (see the Privacy Policy) remain available to you.
